The two most frequently asked questions by couples who want to get married in Bodrum.
- How much does it cost to get married in Bodrum?
- Can you share your wedding packages for Bodrum?
Providing a clear and definite answer to these questions is actually quite difficult.
Let us explain why, by summarizing the main points:
Bodrum, one of the most preferred destinations in the world for destination weddings, is not only a wedding location but also a true holiday paradise. With its stunning beaches and bays, crystal-clear sea, sand, sunshine, high service quality, and an almost 12-month summer season, it is a dream destination for many couples.
Bodrum transforms weddings from a “one-day celebration” into a week-long wedding holiday experience — a big wedding party planned within a vacation concept. Couples and their guests enjoy a full holiday while celebrating together and having unforgettable fun. With boat tours, cultural excursions, local restaurants, and vibrant nightlife, Bodrum is especially attractive to international guests.
In short, Bodrum is not a place for a “one-day wedding,” but rather for a “wedding week planning.” For this reason, offering a standard, classic wedding package like those in city hotels is quite challenging. Every couple’s hotel choice, wedding date, expectations, needs, planning details, accommodation, and all other elements are completely unique.
Now, let’s come to the most frequently asked question:
How much does it cost to get married in Bodrum?
The answer is actually up to you 🙂
After reading the details below, you will understand exactly what we mean.
First of all: The venue selection
Bodrum offers countless beautiful hotels and wedding venues, each with its own logistics, menu options, additional services, and facilities. Therefore, the hotel or venue you choose is one of the most important factors that directly affects your total budget. Why?
If your venue is logistically convenient — meaning easy access for trucks, smooth transportation of materials to the event area, and efficient setup — our costs remain stable, which also protects your budget.
However, in some hotels or venues, due to limited parking space or narrow access roads, trucks cannot easily enter. In such cases, additional small vehicles, cranes, extra staff, and many other logistical solutions are required. All of these increase our costs and, naturally, your budget as well.
Setup details and timing are also crucial budget factors. If the setup is highly detailed and time-consuming, it may need to be spread over two days, requiring access to the venue a day in advance — which means two days of setup costs.
Additionally, some hotels do not allow daytime setup at all and require installations to be done overnight within specific time slots. This is another factor that increases costs.
Guest count & accommodation
Based on your guest count, many details take shape:
your menu selection, accommodation for you and your guests, number of rooms, airport–hotel transfers, and many other elements — all of which must be planned according to your budget.
Season & wedding date
Another key factor is the month, season, and even the exact date you plan to get married.
A wedding planned in May, during a calmer shoulder season, will naturally have a different budget compared to one planned in August, when hotels operate at full capacity.
Holiday periods are also among the most popular dates and therefore come with higher costs.
Hotel inclusions
One more important point is what your hotel includes in its wedding offer.
Some hotels provide tables, chairs, lighting, dance floors, sound systems, and even their resident DJ as part of the wedding package, in addition to the menu.
Others only provide the event space and leave all other details to the wedding planner.
In such cases, we transform the venue from A to Z into a full wedding party space. This is a conscious preference for many couples, as it allows every detail — tables, chairs, lighting, and décor — to be customized entirely according to their vision. Naturally, this also affects the overall budget.
Second main factor: Decoration
Decoration is a vast and flexible topic.
Some couples prefer a minimal, elegant style with simplicity in flowers and ambiance, while others choose lush floral designs, more premium decorative elements, and ask us to decorate every area — from the welcome cocktail and ceremony space to table setups and after-party areas.
Locally sourced flowers create more reasonable budgets, while colorful, large-headed, imported flowers increase costs — although they undeniably create a much more striking and luxurious atmosphere.
Third factor: The stage & music
Who will be on stage is one of the most important questions.
A 20-piece orchestra requires a large stage and extensive technical equipment, while a smaller live band (usually 5–6 musicians) needs a more modest setup.
Guest count and venue size are also critical. For large open-air weddings, truss systems (2-leg or 4-leg) and professional sound and lighting setups are necessary to maintain quality.
If the event area is grass, a dance floor is often required.
For DJ performances, the DJ’s preferred setup and stage system must be planned according to the venue.
Fourth factor: Photo & video services
As with every service, this area includes countless details:
the content of the service, number of crew members, special video clips, and the use of high-end filming equipment. All of these are planned in line with your budget.
Additional services
Hair & makeup, wedding cake, welcome cocktail music (saxophone, violin, trio, etc.), dance performances, shows, fireworks, pyro shows…
There are so many additional services we can offer, all of which can be included in your wedding planning according to your chosen budget.
In conclusion
The cost of getting married in Bodrum is determined entirely by your choices and wishes.
The first step in wedding planning should be defining your total budget and guest count. After that, you should meet with wedding planning companies, clearly communicate your budget expectations, and understand what can be offered within that budget.
Following initial meetings, it is absolutely essential to have a video call and meet your wedding planner face-to-face. Because the most important thing in this process is energy — ENERGY IS EVERYTHING!
When energies match and expectations align, this months-long planning journey becomes an incredibly enjoyable and memorable experience.
Another critical point is receiving clear answers to your questions from the very first contact, timely responses to emails/messages/calls, a sincere and warm communication style, and feeling mentally, emotionally, and financially comfortable.
Remember: wedding planning is a long process.
The person and company you entrust with one of the most important days of your life must truly feel right.
This day will be remembered by both you and your guests forever — and remembering it with happiness and longing is priceless.
How do we know? From all the couples whose weddings we have planned 🙂
